MOJI-LOJI is a Progressive Web App (PWA). A PWA is essentially a website that can be installed on your device, giving it an app-like experience without needing an app store.
Unlike traditional apps, a PWA:
doesn’t require access to your contacts or photos,
doesn’t ask for unnecessary permissions,
updates automatically whenever a new version is published,
can even work offline for many features.
If your browser offers an Install button, that’s simply your browser recognizing that MOJI-LOJI meets the standards of a secure installable web app.
I noticed the desktop version behaves differently.
That’s intentional.
Desktop screens are much larger than phones, so the layout has been adjusted to make better use of the extra space while keeping the gameplay identical. Plus, desktops and laptops have more power for dealing with the different visuals, as the game was first designed for desktop.
Whether you’re playing on a phone, tablet, or desktop, you’re solving the exact same daily puzzle.
Why isn’t MOJI-LOJI on Google Play or the App Store?
Keeping MOJI-LOJI independent lets me spend my time improving the game instead of dealing with store fees, reviews, publishing rules, and endless updates.
The PWA version gives almost the same experience as a native app while updating instantly for everyone.
If you’d like to support the project, any contribution—small or large—helps cover development costs and keeps the daily puzzles coming.
Every coffee counts.
I found a bug!
Awesome… well, not awesome.
Please send me an email or message on social describing:
what happened,
what device and browser you’re using,
and, if possible, include a screenshot.
The more details you provide, the easier it is for me to squash the bug.
I’d like to create a MOJI-LOJI theme!
That’s amazing!
If you have a fun idea for a World of the Day, fill in the template below and email it to me.
If your submission fits the spirit of MOJI-LOJI, I may include it in a future update.
Contributors whose themes are selected will receive credit in the game’s end statistics.
Please note that sending a submission is entirely voluntary. It doesn’t create any ownership, payment, or compensation agreement—it simply means you’re sharing your creativity with the project.
Replace 🙂 with the corresponding emoji of your choice matching the secret letter, and replace each question mark with a clever label. Do not worry about typos. Remember the rules and how emojis and words connect.
How can I help?
The easiest way is to spread the word.
Share your daily results.
Challenge your friends.
Tell people about MOJI-LOJI.
Report bugs.
Suggest funny ideas.
Keep playing.
Every player helps the game grow.
Will there be more worlds?
Definitely.
New themes, categories, emojis, jokes, currencies, and surprises will continue to appear over time. Part of the fun is never knowing what tomorrow’s puzzle will bring.
What is LOJIRO?
LOJIRO is the official currency of the MOJI-LOJI universe.
Every day you travel to a different world, each with its own unique local currency. One day you might earn Stilettos, another day Teslas, Heels, Wind, Toilet Paper, or something even stranger.
At the end of every game, your daily earnings are automatically exchanged into LOJIRO, allowing you to carry your wealth from one world to the next.
After all, you can't buy anything with Stilettos in the World of Elites—you'll need Teslas... or better yet, LOJIRO.
Think of LOJIRO as the one currency accepted everywhere in the MOJI-LOJI multiverse.
So keep collecting. You never know what strange economy tomorrow's world will bring.
How does seasonal progression work?
Your journey is personal.
Each season contains 30 episodes. Every new player starts at Season 1 · Episode 1, regardless of the calendar date. You play the next unfinished episode in order at your own pace.
You may play one new episode per local calendar day. After a seven-day streak within that season, its Vault opens and allows up to two new episodes per day for the rest of that season.
Completing Episode 30 moves you to Episode 1 of the next released season. Completed puzzles, career statistics, badges, LOJIRO, and Jokers carry forward.
What is my Player ID?
Your anonymous recovery key.
On your first visit, MOJI-LOJI creates a random ID in the format ML-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. It is not an account, username, email address, or password.
Open YOUR BRIEFING to view it and use COPY ID to save it somewhere safe. Never share it publicly: anyone with the ID may request that player's backup.
How do I restore my progress?
Use your Player ID.
After meaningful progress, MOJI-LOJI can back up completed puzzle results, seasonal progression, streaks, Vault state, LOJIRO, and Jokers under your anonymous Player ID. Temporary UI state, sounds, caches, and test settings are not backed up.
On another device, open YOUR BRIEFING, choose RESTORE, enter your Player ID, and confirm. The game reloads with the saved progress.
If you lose the Player ID, there is no email or account-based recovery route. Keep it private and store it somewhere safe.
Is every puzzle really daily?
Yes.
Each player receives their own next sequential episode. A new episode becomes available according to your personal daily allowance, not according to a shared global calendar.
No spoilers!
Does MOJI-LOJI collect my personal data?
No.
MOJI-LOJI stores the information needed to remember your progress locally. If you use cloud backup, anonymous game data is also stored under your Player ID; no personal profile is required.
I don’t sell your data, track your conversations, or build advertising profiles.
Can I play older puzzles?
Yes. But!
When the current season's Vault is open, PAST GAMES lets you replay previously completed episodes as practice. Replays do not consume your new-puzzle allowance, advance progression, increase your streak, or award rewards again.
Why does the game sometimes update without me doing anything?
Because it’s a PWA.
Whenever a new version is published, your browser automatically downloads the latest files in the background. That means bug fixes, improvements, and new features usually appear without you needing to install updates manually.
Is MOJI-LOJI free?
Yes.
The daily game is completely free to play and will always remain free.
If you'd like to support the project, you can make a voluntary contribution of any size. Every coffee helps fund development, new worlds, new features, server costs, and plenty of questionable emoji choices.
Supporting MOJI-LOJI is never required—just playing, sharing the game, and enjoying it already means a lot.
No paywalls. No energy bars. No lives to refill. Just one new puzzle every day.
Thanks!
MOJI-LOJI is a tiny independent passion project built with a lot of coffee, curiosity, and questionable emoji choices.
